Below you will find just a taster of activities you can find at this years event.
All of these activities and exhibitions will be on show at this years Game Fair as well as a whole host of others that we really couldn't fit in, so do come along and enjoy yourself. We are sure that there is something for everyone.
Siberian Huskies

Open Scurry

This year the popular Scurry Competition will be open to allcomers and any breed of dog, now sponsored by Gelert Country Choice and Jane Robinson Animal Portraits, prizes include a limited edition Animal Portrait by Jane Robinson and dog food from Gelert. All participants welcome, enter on the day - including land and water retrievals.
Chainsaw Sculpture Demonstration

Dave Bytheway a professional chainsaw expert will be enthralling audiences in his arena and in the Countyside Alliance arena with his specialist skill of carving figurines from logs using only his chainsaw, demonstrating his carving skills creating items which can be purchased on the day, such as owls, squirrels, mushrooms, birds of prey and children's furniture. Stools will also be carved for some lucky child to take home.
Stick Dressing
On Saturday Dinefwr and Distric Stickmakers Guild will be demonstrating stickmaking throughout the day.
Welsh Open Stickmaking Competition
On Sunday the Welsh Open Stickmaking Competition sponsored by Olympic Windows will be judged and exhibited at the fair. Judge for the show will be Keith Jones of Pontyberem. Bonsai Show
Dragon Bonsai Society is a very active society showing in this country in all major Bonsai Shows, as well as the Chelsea Flower Show. The Society also ventures into Europe to major shows in Belgium, and Austria amongst others.
We are looking forward to meeting everyone at the Welsh in June.
Terrier and Lurcher Show
The Countryside Alliance are again organising the International Terrier Championship of the British Isles. 50 qualifying shows will be held in Scotland, Wales, England, Northern Ireland and the Eire. The Qualifier from this show is eligible for automatic and free entry to the final. Terrier and Lurcher Racing will commence after the show. Schedule and further information
Terrier and Lurcher Racing
Terrier and Lurcher racing will take place after the completion of the show. In addition to the usual races there will be an open lurcher race, with the winner receiving the Heather Stevens Perpetual Trophy.

Children Activities
Bouncy Castles, Quad Bikes, Fairground Rides and a whole host of entertaining activities will be going on in the Children's Corner - possibly a chance for the parents to take a break even!
Pets Corner
The kids will love these wonderful pets both common and exotic, as well as being able to ask the keepers for guidance and information which may be helpful if considering buying your own.
Clay Pigeon Shoot

Pakefield Ferrets
Simon Whitehead, founder of Pakefield Ferrets will explain and demonstrate why and how he ferrets in an informative, educational and amusing manner. Demonstrations will take place in his display area and will make an appearance at the Countryside Alliance ring.
Helicopter Rider
Static Engine Display
Engine enthusiasts will be 'chuffed' to see our great selection of static engines from yesteryear. Even those of you who aren't enthusiasts will be mesmerized. Organised by Towy Valley Vintage Club. Exhibitors will be presented with a brass plaque, only the first 100 exhibitors will be accepted. Please contact us for further informarion.
